Accounts


You need an account to use our platform which includes purchasing and enrolling in courses.  It is your responsibility to maintain up to date records on your account including a valid email address.   You remain the sole responsible party of your account as well as all activity associated with your account including damages to third parties resulting from the activity on your account causing harm or damage (which may or may not have arisen due to someone using your account without your permission). Accounts cannot be transferred to another person.

By sharing your account details, logins and contents with a third party you are responsible for any consequences arising thereof and Future Blackboard will not intercede on disputes relating to shared account credentials.  It is your responsibility to notify us immediately if you believe a third party is accessing your account without permission.   

There is no minimum age to enrolling in our courses however if you are younger than 18 we recommend you seek the help of a parent or guardian to assist you in enrolling in appropriate courses for your age.  


Enrolment and Access


When you enrol in a Future Blackboard module or course, you receive a license to view it via the Future Blackboard platform and services and no other use including screen recording, screen sharing and screen capturing. It is prohibited to resell courses in any way.  You are however granted lifetime access (unless otherwise stipulated by an educator in the course outline) until such point that the course is removed due to outdated content or for legal and policy reasons or at the discretion of Future Blackboard.

Under our Educator Agreement when a course is published on Future Blackboard platforms, the educator grants Future Blackboard the license to offer the content and courses to students. As a student, when you enrol in a course, you are receiving a Future Blackboard licence to view our courses via our platforms but the content is not sold to you directly and you do not own the content.  The mentioned license does not provide you any rights to resell, share or redistribute the content, materials, audio, pdf’s, mp3’s, images or any other materials, intellectual property and digital content on the website in any way, shape or form.

In absolute and legal terms, Future Blackboard grants students a non-exclusive, limited and non-transferable license to students only to access and view the content, courses and modules with which you have paid in full all fees for your personal and educational purposes only. To clarify, all other uses of our services and platforms are explicitly prohibited. You must not copy, sell, share, modify, alter, redistribute or transfer any content on our platforms unless we have explicitly given written permission to do so.

We usually offer a lifetime access license to students upon enrolment however, we reserve the right to withdraw access licences to our platform, courses, modules and content at any time in the event where we are obliged to do so legally.  


We also act as a directory for courses specific to the emerging economy. Although we list courses with links to other platforms we do not take any responsibility for the content of these courses and the course providers. If you enrol in a course on another platform, we are not responsible for their delivery, quality, refunds, payments, content, customer service or any other aspect of their business.  

Payments and refunds

Pricing

The prices of all Future Blackboard courses are determined based on the terms of the Educators Agreement.

Payments

Specific to courses HOSTED on the Future Blackboard platform.  Not for courses listed on other platforms we offer links to. 

In order to purchase a Future Blackboard course you agree to pay the fees associated with gaining access to these courses.   Future Blackboard uses third party payment processing partners (PayPal and Stripe) to give you convenient and secure payments.  

When you make a purchase, you agree to use a valid and authorised payment method. If payment is not received and you have been granted access to a course we reserve the right to remove your access or suspend access for courses we have yet to receive payment for. 

Refunds and Credits

In the case that your purchased course from Future Blackboard and it is not what you were expecting you can request a refund within 30 days of purchasing the course.  We reserve the right to issue either a refund or a credit. This is due to the various capabilities that are dependent on where you purchased your course and on what device. No refund or credit will be issued if the request is made after the 30 day time limit has passed.

Behavior Guidelines

You must only use Future Blackboard for legal purposes. As a user and contributor to our platforms you are held responsible for any content that you share, deliver, send or post on any of our platforms. You must keep your reviews, posts, emails, questions and answers as well as any other content you upload in line with the law, while considering and respecting all intellectual property of any and all third parties.

Using Future Blackboard at Your Own Risk

Anyone can use Future Blackboard for educational purposes and to interact with educators and other students however as with many other platforms available for posting and viewing digital and online content things can go wrong, and you use Future Blackboard at your own risk.

Our courses are reviewed only for quality and accuracy of educational content however we do not review for legal issues and we do not review the legal foundations or aspects of course content. We endeavor to publish up to date and relevant content however the nature of the future currency and and technology is continually changing and as such we cannot guarantee the validity or accuracy of the courses.  

When you interact directly with instructors and students on the platform you must consider the risks of sharing personal information about yourself. We are not in control of the information shared between students and instructors and urge students and instructors to refrain from sharing personal information.

We do not employ instructors and therefore we are not responsible or liable for any communication, relationships or collaboration shared between instructors and students. We are also not accountable for claims, losses, disputes, damage or injuries that may arise due to the actions of students and instructors.  

When you use our services you will be exposed to links and services to websites, businesses and services that we do not control or own. We are not accountable for the content of third-party sites, including their collection of information about you. You should always read the terms and conditions and privacy policies

Cryptocurrency Specific

1 - Future Blackboard will not create wallets for a student/member nor will it do any transactions for a student/member. Future Blackboard will not do any trades under the request of a student/member or trade on behalf of a student/member. The purpose of Future Blackboard is to demonstrate to a student/member the tools, applications and services available in order to purchase and manage their cryptocurrency portfolio. Future Blackboard in no way offers financial or investment advice, but rather offers guidance in the navigation of cryptocurrency applications and systems.

2 -This risk disclaimer is intended to inform the Future Blackboard student/members of the potential financial risks of engaging in trading in cryptocurrency. If you enrol in and undertake to complete a course on the Future Blackboard with any educator of Future Blackboard you must agree to have read this disclaimer.

3- Transactions involving any currency, but with reference to Cryptocurrency holds a substantial degree of risk. Before deciding to undertake such transactions after your encounter with Future Blackboard you should carefully evaluate whether your financial situation is appropriate for such transactions.

4 -Trading with cryptocurrency could result in substantial or complete loss of funds and thus should only be done with consideration of your risk capital. Risk capital are the funds that are not crucial to the survival or well-being of the student/member. Future Blackboard strongly suggests that a student/member who wants to trade in cryptocurrency use due diligence and research risks inherent with trading crypto currency.

5 - Opinions and analysis expressed by Future Blackboard AND/OR educators in relation to cryptocurrencies must not to be considered precise or as fact.  Trading cryptocurrencies is done online which although convenient it holds many risks. Future Blackboard does not accept any responsibility towards any student/member, member or third party, who acts on information from Future Blackboard. All information contained in any documentation and on the website should not be reproduced or shared.

6 - Risk Warning: Future Blackboard makes no recommendations as to the merits of any Cryptocurrency discussed in courses, meetings, classes, emails, online webinars, online meetings or phone calls.  The information contained does not take into account your personal objectives, financial situation and needs. Thus you should consider whether buying, selling or trading cryptocurrency is appropriate in view of your objectives, financial situation and needs.  You should consider all risks associated with dealing with cryptocurrency. Do not invest money you cannot afford to lose.

7 - While every care has been taken to ensure the accuracy of the material presented, Future Blackboard is not responsible or liable for action taken by any person on the basis of the information contained on the website, course pages, course content, Facebook group, online course or in any material presented by Future Blackboard. All Future Blackboard staff and educators are not giving any financial or investment advice but purely communicating their personal views and experiences. Nothing in the online course, facebook groups or any material presented by Future Blackboard is to be constituted in any way as financial advice.

9 - Future Blackboard will not accept any student/member who has not read and agreed to the content of this disclaimer. Upon booking it shall be taken that you have read this disclaimer and agreed to its contents.
